Local Impact, Lasting Legacy
The Cummings Scholars Program is a career and leadership development initiative through the HomeFree-USA Center for Financial Advancement® in partnership with Wells Fargo. The program supports students at Bowie State University and Morgan State University, providing them with professional experience, personal development, and mentorship opportunities in partnership with mission-driven organizations in Baltimore and the greater Maryland area. Named in honor of the late Congressman Elijah Cummings, a dedicated champion of equity, education, and opportunity, the program was created to help cultivate the next generation of talented leaders who will continue his legacy of service and impact.
