Springtime is just around the corner, and as most of us are hanging up our winter coats, thousands of people across the country are preparing to become first-time homeowners this season.

In 2024 alone, 1,942 people received homeownership guidance and financial education throughout our affiliate network. Thanks to their dedicated efforts, HomeFree-USA saw a 96% approval rate on mortgage-ready submissions and a 0% foreclosure rate.
This month, I want to highlight a program that will take the “pull-through” rate of mortgage ready clients to new levels.

HomeFree-USA utilizes proven methods of sourcing, preparing, and connecting mortgage-ready homebuyers and homeowners to lender partners.

Lender Link offers the following:
Expanded reach: We align our partners with nonprofits in their target markets to heighten presence, showcase loan products, host homeownership events, strengthen marketing outcomes, and generate approvable applicants.
Reduced foreclosures: We use marketing and counseling campaigns to activate delinquent, unresponsive homeowners and help them access mortgage workout options.
Increased client approvals: We save our partners time and money by providing not-yet-qualified clients with credit coaching and homebuyer preparation counseling. Once they’re equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a homeowner, we pass them back to their lender for a smooth mortgage-approval process.
Opportunities to grow business in underserved communities: We use comprehensive data from HomeFree-USA’s affiliate network of housing counseling agencies. This data represents the needs and wants of more than 5.3 million people across 22 of the nation’s largest cities and 174 rural areas.
