HomeFree-USA’s Nationwide Network Receives NFMC Round 8 Support for Foreclosure Prevention Counseling Efforts
Grant provides much-needed boost to help homeowners in danger of foreclosure
Hyattsville, MD – Today HomeFree-USA announced that it has received support from the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling program for the 30plus community-based agencies in its nationwide network. The much-needed funding will enable the local affiliated HUD-approved agencies to provide more foreclosure counseling to the homeowners in danger of foreclosure in their respective communities.
“HomeFree-USA is very pleased to receive the continuing support of the NFMC program,” said Marcia Griffin, founder and president of HomeFree-USA. “While the pace of home foreclosure has lessened nationally, many homeowners in our communities and states our network serves continue to face serious mortgage payment issues.”
