The Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens in Somerset, New Jersey, former New Jersey Secretary of State, and the author of the books “Say Yes to No Debt: 12 Steps to Financial Freedom”, “Meditations for Financial Freedom - Volumes 1&2” and “Say Yes When Life Says No.”

He is the creator of dfree® – a financial freedom movement in use by thousands of churches and organizations across the country. dfree® has been featured by CNN in a 90-minute Black in America documentary entitled, “Almighty Debt.” His work has also been featured in several publications, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Black Enterprise.

Ernest L. Campbell | Retail Mortgage Market Manager, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

Ernest Campbell holds the position of Retail Mortgage Market Manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the Greater Philadelphia, Delaware and Maryland Shore footprint.

Mr. Campbell is responsible for all aspects of sales, quality, profitability, risk, customer experience and team member development. He owns the strategic direction for the market and the execution of the company’s major initiatives within that market. His current team consists of 75+ mortgage professionals.

His career in the mortgage industry has spanned 19 years, including 9 years with Wells Fargo and 8 years with HSBC Bank, where he was a District Sales Manager in their mortgage division before joining Wells Fargo in 2011. His background includes Sales Leadership, Business Development, Team Member Growth and Retention and Managing Strategic Partnerships.

Ernest has a BS degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management from Missouri Valley College. He is a Board Member of the Philadelphia Urban League and is also a member of several real estate industry trade and civic organizations nationally, regionally and locally in the Greater Philly Market.


Janett Rundlett | Regional Owner, EXIT Mid-Atlantic

Janett Rundlett, who serves as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Region, has over ten years of experience in sales and marketing with The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and she is an entrepreneur running several of her own successful enterprises.

Her passion to help others along with her sales and marketing background fueled her excitement to purchase EXIT Mid-Atlantic with her husband to help the strong leaders already present in the Region continue to grow, as well as to implement a marketing plan to expand the Region’s office and agent count.


Cerita Battles | Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Diverse Segments, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

Cerita and her team are responsible for the development, implementation and execution of national strategies to increase and sustain homeownership among low-to-moderate (LMI) income and minority borrowers and communities. Those strategies include, but are not limited to, sourcing real estate practitioners and builders doing business in LMI and minority communities; recruitment and retention of diverse sales staff; partnering with non-profit agencies to provide homeownership counseling; and facilitating activities to increase awareness about products and programs to help families achieve and sustain the dream of homeownership.


Jay Hayes | Admissions Counselor, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

Jay Hayes was born and raised in Mendenhall, MS. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Education from The University of Southern Mississippi. In 2016, he moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue his Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Jay was quite active in the GC community while enrolled, serving as part of the Chapel Team, Diversity Council & MDiv Student Care worker. In May 2019, Jay accepted a full-time position at GCTS as an Admissions Counselor. His primary responsibilities in this role focus on student recruitment, both domestic and international. Jay also served as director of Gordon-Conwell’s Theological ESL program for the 2019-2020 academic year. In addition to his responsibilities in Admissions, Jay serves as International Student Advisor to non-immigrant international students as well as the Staff Lead for the campus Diversity Council.


Dr. Richard Swart | Strategic Advisor to the 1% of Global Billionaires,

Dr. Richard Swart is a globally recognized authority on FinTech and alternative finance.  His work looks at the intersection of technology changes, access to finance and investment capital, and social impact.

Currently a Strategic Advisor to - the world’s leading prediction platform in early-stage venture capital. He ran a research program on innovation in crowdfunding and platform-based finance at the Institute for Business and Social Impact in UC Berkeley’s Haas Business School and was the director of the Center for Emerging Technologies in the Bill Gates funded Institute for Money, Technology and Financial Inclusion at UC Irvine. Greg joined Russell Reynolds Associates from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he served as a management consultant in Financial Services. He focused on key strategic projects across a spectrum of Fortune 500 clients, to include M&A, commercial real estate, insurance and wealth management. Prior to PwC, Greg served seven years as an officer in the United States Navy. As a ship navigator and Surface Warfare Officer, he oversaw maritime operations aboard two distinguished naval vessels, stationed in the United States and Bahrain. In addition, Greg worked as a basketball official for the Florida High School Athletic Association.

Greg holds a BS in political science, with a concentration in American politics and law from the United States Naval Academy. He was also a four-year member of the NCAA Division I basketball team.

Jacqueline Welch | Senior Vice President - Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Diversity Officer, Freddie Mac

Jacqueline M. Welch is Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Diversity Officer. She is a member of the company’s senior operating committee and reports directly to CEO David Brickman.

Welch brings more than 20 years of experience in HR and inclusion and diversity strategy and execution to Freddie Mac. She partners with the senior team to mobilize and activate people to drive business results. As head of HR, Welch leads a team of experts in the optimal delivery of HR functions, such as talent management, compensation, total well-being and analytics and workforce technology, along with emerging business drivers, such as artificial intelligence. As Chief Diversity Officer, Welch leads Freddie Mac’s inclusion and diversity strategy, engaging employees, diverse suppliers and underserved communities and ensuring the compliance of diversity reporting requirements mandated by law and directed by Freddie Mac’s regulator and conservator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency.

Prior to Freddie Mac, Welch served as Senior Vice President of International Human Resources for Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta. She has also worked for organizations such as West Rock (formerly Rock-Tenn Company), Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), Willis Towers Watson (formerly Towers Perrin) and Lord & Taylor.

Welch earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the Milano Graduate School. She chairs Freddie Mac’s Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and she also serves on the boards of the HR Policy Association, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia and iRelaunch. Welch has been named a “CHRO of the Year” by HRO Today, a “Diversity Leader of the Year” and “Woman Worth Watching” by the Profiles in Diversity Journal and earned the “Breakaway Leadership Award” by Evanta, a Gartner Company.


Beverly Wise | Speaker, Writer, Talent Consultant, Professional Coach, The BB&T Leadership Institute  

Having served both her organizations and her community at the highest levels, Beverly Wise understands the critical importance of leadership. Wise is an experienced business, human resources, organization development, and community leader with a verifiable track record of influencing change, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and leading organizations and divisions to achieve desired goals and objectives. Her past community support activities include Board of Director positions on her local United Way, Hospice, City Alliance, and Economic Development Center for Regional Analysis organizations and as Chairperson of the Workforce Investment Board and The Pennsylvania State University Advisory Board for Outreach and Online Education.

Wise’s leadership earned her the Athena Award from her local Chamber of Commerce and The Fisher Award of Distinction from Penn State. She is a regular contributor to The BB&T Leadership Institute Magazine, and was an instructor for both the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and The Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Wise founded two consulting groups which provided regular facilitation, consulting and coaching services to community leaders and organizations.


Craig Pascal | Senior Vice President, Group Community Development Manager, Mid Atlantic Markets, Truist

Mr. Pascal is a fourth generation Washingtonian with a strong commitment to the local community.  Mr. Pascal has over twenty years of experience and leadership in the area of Community Development Banking.  He is a manager of a team of nine Community Development Managers across the bank’s Mid-Atlantic footprint (Southern New Jersey to North Carolina) who are responsible for a broad range of activities to assure the bank’s continued strong involvement in community development and meeting the financial needs of the local low-to-moderate income persons and communities.  Community Development Managers responsibilities include: Ascertaining community needs, generating and tracking community development lending, investments and services opportunities; serving on multiple community development boards and committees, including leadership roles and coordinating Truist’s CRA Community Development Councils.    

Mr. Pascal is active on several boards and committees assisting the local community, including being on the Steering Committee for the Housing Leaders Group of Greater Washington and being on the Board and Corporative Advisory Board of So Others Might Eat (SOME) .  He is a former board member of HAND (Housing Association of Non-Profit Developers), DC Housing Finance Agency, the DC Housing Production Trust Fund Advisory Board, DC Chamber of Commerce and also the former chair of the American Bankers Association’s Housing, Community and Economic Development Committee. He was also a member of the initial Workforce Investment Council (WIC) in Washington, DC.  Previously Mr. Pascal was President of the Metro Washington Bankers Group.  He was a member of the 2007 Class of Leadership Greater Washington.  

Mr. Pascal was nationally honored with the Partners for Livable Communities Bridge Builder Award in 2004.  In 2013 he received the American Dream Award from Manna, Inc.

Mr. Pascal was formerly the General Counsel for the late Honorable Harry L. Thomas, Sr., Councilmember, Ward 5, Washington, D.C.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland (Cum Laude and Dean’s List) and a Juris Doctor Degree from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America.


Clay Goldsboro | Vice President, First Financial Group

Clay graduated from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, with a degree in biology, Clay Goldsborough.  He started his career in sales after college which ultimately led him to the IT world, selling software for Computer Associates and IBM for 5 years.  He later worked for Lexis Nexis and Illumen before finally, realizing his entrepreneurial tendencies, Clay started several successful companies in the real estate investment and consulting arena over the course of 7 years. In 2010, he found the career that would change his life.

He started his career in Financial Services with Northwestern Mutual in 2010. He was responsible for sourcing potential advisors. Despite no experience in that space, Clay's recruits represented 75% of the new agent revenue in 2012 of all five of the agencies' local offices. 

In 2012, Clay joined First Financial Group and has built an extremely successful practice, one relationship at a time. Clay has consistently been one of the top Advisor’s at FFG over the last 8 years winning numerous awards and industry recognition. He has helped build the Firm into one of the premier Financial Planning Firms in the Mid-Atlantic.

In his spare time, Clay likes to spend time with his Wife Adrian and their two Sons, Ethan and Evan, playing golf, reading and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.  His greatest passion is building relationships. He and his Family live in Potomac, Maryland.

Simone Griffin believes that everyone holds the power and capacity to become a Money Magnet. Simone currently serves as Vice President of Affiliate Relations for HomeFree-USA, where she oversees compliance, federal and private funding, and Congressional advocacy for 53 affiliate organizations nationwide. She also implements nationwide federal government grants as well as those from various funders and private banks. Since 2012, Simone has served as co-planner of the annual HomeFree-USA Reaching Millions Conference, which brings together hundreds of mortgage industry leaders with the goal of advancing homeownership via collaborations in the non-profit, for-profit and government housing sectors.

Prior to joining HomeFree-USA Simone served as Director of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF, Inc) Student Homeownership Opportunity Program (SHOP) and SHOP For Wealth. Both programs were designed to encourage homeownership and wealth building opportunities among students at the nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
